Ouch!

I’m allergic to bees so that quote sends shivers up my spine but despite my jitters, it is very insightful.

Joseph Joubert died in 1824 and left us with a truth that remains the bane of our existence until this day.

Most things in life are not as smooth and flowing as we’d like them to be.

And ladies, romance is no different. We’ve all been stung, bruised, and battered by ferocious bees dressed in male clothing. It’s going to happen to us seekers of the heart.

Heartbreak and rejection are facts of life but we are not going to taste the sweet nectar of romance if we’re not going to go out there and take the risks.

I don’t mean becoming the aggressor and hunting him down. I’m saying, going on the date after he’s asked you out with the full knowledge that he may not be interested in you.

Ouch. Think of the honey that awaits you and move on.

And what if you’re bee has asked for a divorce out of nowhere, shattering the future that you thought that you’d build with him? Well, you get things in order, put antiseptic on that nasty sting and continue in your quest for the honey.

I sincerely hope that you have been irritated by your last loser insect and while suffering journey of discomfort into the world of dating, you have to think about just how good that long awaited sip of honey is going to taste when your Mr. Wonderful comes along!
